Founded in the ruins of Japan, its goals are simple

Bring back what once was, through any means possible

Advance technology to do this.

Help those in need

Destroy those who abuse technology.

Slay those who speak out against it

Burn the heretics who stand against them.

Their beliefs, however, are much more....complex. To be put simple, they believe technology is sacred, a gift bestowed by the Machine God at humanities dawn. They believe that The End was a way to punish man for their misuse of his gifts. They believe that, in order to regain his favor, they must climb out of the ashes, and rebuild a better, more perfect society.

Bring back civilization, police use of technology, improve the lives of all civilians. Destroy those who stand against them.

The Dark Inquisition believes in creativity and knowledge, helping those in need, and the necessity of technology. They believe that the time before the End was a golden age brought low by greed, and thus, have a heavy aversion to greed. Further, they believe the fusion between technology and flesh is sacred, and thus, cyborgs are held in high regard.
