Going for a run

Today started out like any other, get up, get dressed, head out for some coffee at the cafe listening around for a job. Quin got out of the buggy, leaving his rifles under the back seat, and headed inside, his goggles were on his forehead, he was wearing the usual rustic brown, white and black light canvas clothing, his holsters hanging from his shoulders carrying his .45 caliber pistols that where hidden underneath a rustic brown leather jacket. He walks up to the Counter and shows the lady a little card, "I'm here to pick up my thermos of Coffee for the day..." he said to her with a friendly grin because he did this nearly every day.
"Alright Mr. Quin, it'll be right out for you." the girl at the counter said. While waiting he sat at a table that was fairly close to the counter, he pulled a Journal out that he'd been keeping records of Jobs, Materials, and just personal documentation of certain things. -Scavenge the abandoned city to the south
was written in for today's agenda.

Stepping smartly up the road she spotted a nice little buggy she looked around to see anyone that looked successful enough to have a vehicle spotting a man that seemed to know what he was doing in the world she sat in the vehicle's driver's seat and crossed her hands in her lap waiting for him to return a devilish smile dancing on her lips as she brushed her hair to the side so that her bangs cover her left eye. Her back was perfectly straight in the seat her gaze never leaving her target the whole while as her legs crossed themselves at the ankles the picture of the classically trained lady Timepiece waited the only sound that was made by her was a small almost unhearable ticking of a clock.

Quindaro kept writing in his journal before the girl came to him with a dark grey thermos of coffee, "Here you go, and have a good day." she said a smile across her face. Standing up he took the capsule and put a few coins in her hand, "Thank you very much,and have a splendid day" he said to her before she thanked him again before walking back to the backroom very cheerily. "Heh... She always makes the morning great..." he said under his breath as he head toward the saloon style doors. Taking his drink in hand he unscrewed the lid and took a big gulp of coffee, feeling it run down his throat but when he brought the thermos down he saw a lady sitting in his buggy, "I wonder who this could be...?" he thought to himself while he looked at her with a neutral face and screwed the lid back on.

"So how may I help you today?" he asked her walking up to the buggy, he opened up the backseat door and put his bag on the back of the drivers seat. before looking back at her.

Turning her head only slightly to look up at the man she changed her smile quickly from what it was to a more enchanting smile that was practiced to perfection and said "Oh, well that is quite the pleasantry to meet someone of manners in this barren world other than myself." Offering her hand to the man as she opened the door to exit the vehicle she continues "I am Timepiece if you wish to call me a name. As for what I desire..." her smile dipping back into something more devilish "mainly it is a companion to help me along into the nearby ruins so that I may scavenged something I need from it." her voice was on a practiced tone of honey and silken politeness "However, if you don't believe you can be of assistance to me I will understand and I shall take my business elsewhere."

Quindaro took her hand in his firmly "Nice to meet you Timepiece, I'm Quindaro... most around here call me Quin though..." he said in a crisp refined tone before letting go of her hand after
he helped her out of the buggy, he then listened to her proposition, "I don't see why not..." he said a grin came across his face, "...I'm heading down there for some scrap and to keep an eye out for a few parts..." He opened his thermos and took another drink. "Would you like anything before we set out?" he said to her capping the thermos and setting it in the console in between the seats.

"Hmm..." was the sound she made before moving to right in front of Quin almost flush with his body and leaned her head back to look into his eyes and said in a breathed whispered "Would you mind looking at my eyes and telling me the time my dear Quin..." standing on her tip toes to bring herself closer she flicked her hair with a hand so that it laid away from her face revealing her left eye. A golden faced grandfather clock like eye gazed up at him as it slowly ticked backwards she whispered again "It's very important..." her other hand coming up to be gently placed on Quin's shoulder for balance.

Quindaro stood there and gazed into her clock eye "it reads 10:00..." he said his voice regular and he kept his form even though he blushed slightly from her coming up to him so suddenly. he then gazed at the clock itself "Who designed this for you?" he said looking at the design of the Grandfather clock around her eye seeing the seconds hand ticking around the clock backwards.

Setting her feet back onto the ground she spun slightly to stand side by side with Quin and wrap one arm around his and held herself clos to his body and sighed daintily before saying "Just a man I meet years ago..." her voice still honeyed as she scanned his face and smiled warmly "Shall we be off Quin? I'd really love for you to escort me there and back if you can... please?" the last word punctuated by the batting of her lashes and the light press of her chest against his arm.

Quindaro looks at her "Yea we should..." he said trying his best not to blush as she pressed her chest onto his arm, he looked at her closely before he felt her let go. "What are you looking for down there?" he said opening the drivers side door and getting in pulling one of his .45's out of his jacket and putting it in a holster in the side of the door. He then dug an extra set of goggles and set them on the console for her (If you want them.).

Walking around the to the passenger side she slides in and grabs the goggles and cocks her head before slipping the around her neck for later "I suppose there's no reason to keep it from you. I shall be searching for batteries and maybe a few small gears if I can." she says sitting straight in the seat and smiling at Quin both of her eyes lingering on his face as she properly folded her hands in her lap. "What is it you shall be hoping to discover?" she says as one hand comes over fluidly to land on the middle of his thigh.

(Just making sure you know about the age difference right? Your guy is 30... and she's 19)

Quindaro takes a short drink trying to ignore her hand on his thigh, "I'm looking for some springs, a couple of cogs, and a few odds and ends..." he puts the Thermos down in the console before pulling his bandanna up around his neck for when he might need it before starting the buggy. He then shifted to drive and slowly started off to the edge of the town with his new companion. "Lets just hope that no bandits decide to try and raid us..." He thinks to himself passing the roughly made sign that read "Welcome to Greensburrow."

(Yea but think about it moral standing and age difference when it comes to relationships isn't all that bad due to the society of a post-apocalyptic world... plus he's a guy he thinks about girls constantly even if they are under him age-wise.)

Timepiece's tongue slowly licked her lips as she thought about a raid "Oh... bandits won't be to much of a problem if they do. I'm quite handy in a fight if I do say so myself." her hand still lightly placed on Quin's thigh as they drive along. "But may I ask what you shall be doing with all those parts?" she asks as she leans across the center to press her shoulder against his as her hair shifts to reveal her face fully. Her lips brushing against his cheek as she speaks over the engine the gold and red orbs looking up to the corner of Quin's eye "I really am quite intrigued."

Quindaro steadied his hands on the wheel as he decelerated slightly, scanning the foreground before he felt her lips brush up against his cheek as he felt her warm breath as she spoke, trying to keep a ring on what he was doing he tried to ignore the progressive advance from her "Well... this bucket of bolts needs plenty of replacement parts... and I need plenty of stock so I can work on the town's weaponry and general nee-" he stops as he feels her move progressively inward on his thigh, -sigh- I hope that my mental fortitude is much stronger than my physical. he thinks to himself fighting back several urges as he continues. "...needs." he finally says his face blushing a little as he kept going down the dirt path.

(OOC: It's fine I understand life calls to us sometimes.)

Noticing his break in concentration she giggles light and soft into his ear before pulling away and lifting her legs up and out of the window "I suppose if you help me find my little things then I can keep my eyes out for you..." she say back to him as she grips the top of the vehicle and lifted her legs up to flip herself to the roof of the buggy standing there with the goggles covering her eyes from the whipping sand. Laughing and holding her arms out she twirls, spinning on her toes keeping a perfect balance as the buggy bounces along the road careful to scan every direction despite her seemingly careless and reckless attitude.

Regaining his concentration Quindaro keeps driving along the road, feeling the bite of some of the wind on the side of his face, the dust and sand mixed in and pelting the both of them. "Do you see anything?!" he calls up to her as he lifted his mask and lowered his goggles. He then hears a faint hum that was similar to his buggy's sound "Bandits most likely..." he sighs to himself as he starts to pick up speed and putting his .45 in his lap.

Picking up the sound of another engine Timepiece perks up and faces the direction it seems to come from and catches glimpses of two buggies that seem to be in rather bad shape but obviously bandits with skulls and other grisly bits attached to the frame. She smiled and laughed and twirled one last time before drawing what seemed to be a short musket and a flintlock pistol and said "It seems to be time for some gratuitous violence, what a pity but I was getting bored." though it my not have been loud enough to be heard by her driver.

Seeing out of his rear view mirror he notices 2 Bandit buggies trying to catch up with his own. "What sad excuses for machines..." he says as he taps the roof hard enough for Timepeice to feel the signal that he acknowledges the bogies and to fire at will.
