Dead to Rights

The world is gone. It took 4 1/2 years to be able to surface again; it's been nearly ten years since then. The Earth is still here... but it's not the same.

Cyborg
The merging of man and machine, cyborgs are all humans that have enhanced themselves in some way. Whether due to injury, choice, or experimentation, Cyborgs have become a cut above the regular person. With augmentations and abilities as wide ranging as the minds that made them, no two Cyborgs are alike.

Still human: effects that target humans still affect Cyborgs, as they still technically are. exceptions are when the Cyborg’s modifications obviously make him immune.

Cybernetics and enhancements: Every Cyborg must have some (exact number tbd) of these, as they are the defining feature. They also must be extensive or somehow extreme. a replaced limb will not cut it (no matter how fancy the prosthetic is), though full wiring to the brain with HUD’s and such would. You do have a lot of freedom in this aspect, but try not to go overboard.

Powersource: Everything needs energy to work. while some extremely small things may not need a specific source (Powering a single micro circuit could theoretically be done off the nervous systems pulses), most Cyborgs have too large or too many to rely on that. Electricity, steam, diesel, solar, etc. are all valid sources, but remember their drawbacks. How is he getting the electricity, where is the boiler for the steam or the combustion engine for diesel, where are the panels stored (keep in mind their size. portable ones work for phones, but a cyborg isn’t a phone), etc. This is fantasy, so you have some leeway, but it still needs explanation.

Mentality: Having parts of your body replaced with cybernetics does not have a very positive effect on the brain. Trauma from the accident that forced the enhancements, shock from being forcibly experimented on, or crazy enough to think it was a good idea, every cyborg has something whacked about them and it should be reflected in personality.

Elves
The strange elements brought to Earth by the meteor impacts affected some people differently than others. Some gained magic ike abilities, others grew twisted yet still remained primarily human. The beings now referred to as the elves are almost a mix. Almost mutated in exactly the same way, Elves have acquired what can be described as an expanded mind, as well as hyper reflexes and an affinity to magic.

No longer human: Things that specifically target humans cannot effect elves, they are just too different, even genetically.

Expanded mind: Elves primary change is in their brains, expanding to new horizons and thought patterns. this should be reflected in their personalities.

Hyperactive Reflex: Elves have extremely fast reflexes, enabling them to dodge certain things better, and aim weapons faster. This makes them have a better use of evasion and similar skills, as well as dexterity based fighting.

Magic Affinity: due to the mutations they have experienced, elves have a slight immunity to the effects of magic. They do not go as crazy as fast, and get one free rank in their first magic based class. (any hybrid or Mage)

Mutants
Various dusts, carcinogens, and strange new elements had gotten into the air due to the impacts and these have had many effects on the people who had breathed them. Most died, some just got sick, and others were unaffected. A very small few noticed that they or their children were just slightly off. Mutants are these humans that have had some aspect of them changed.

No longer Human: Effects that target only humans does not affect them.

Mutation: the primary aspect that defines them, most have one significant aspect about them changed (maybe two, but ask for permission first). Feel free to get creative with these, but keep them within reason, as much as mutants can be.

Messed up: Due to the various chemicals/elements that causes these mutations, and the mutations themselves, a Mutants psyc will be worse than most. That being said, having already been exposed to high amounts, they have almost no negative effects when encountering more.
